Personal Fundraising for the 2016 Boo! Run for Life 10K run & Tidal Basin walk
The 2016 Boo! Run for Life event will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in West Potomac Park in Washington, DC.
Please help us to raise more money towards renal cell cancer research by creating a personal fundraising page, by sponsoring a Boo! Run for Life runner or walker, or donating directly to the Fund.
To create a fundraising page, select one of the three buttons to the right under "Participate". We'll make fundraising easy with all the support and tools you'll need.
The Dean R. O’Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund provides support to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at NIH in search of a cure for renal cell cancer, a common form of kidney cancer. The fund specifically supports a postdoctoral fellow, who works in conjunction with the laboratory of Dr. Richard Childs at NHLBI and his staff of doctors to explore treatments such as allogeneic stem cell transplants, vaccine therapy and drug treatments.
Having been diagnosed with renal cancer, Mr. O'Neill was relentless in learning more about the disease and various cutting-edge treatment options. He was treated with an experimental stem cell transplant through Dr. Childs’ lab.
Create your own fundraising page, and we'll make fundraising easy with all the support and tools you'll need.
Hope to see you on October 2nd!
